Jools is an ordained minister within the Methodist Church in Ireland, and a visionary leader with a deep sense of responsibility to live out a call towards the full transformation of human societies. Basic human rights, equality and dignity for all are the pillars of his theological understanding, and his energy has always been directed toward the positive change for a positive world. Jools is a natural team leader, dedicated to collaborative relationships and building strong and effective teams around common goals and objectives. He has been Chaplain to Trinity College Dublin, where is he appreciates a high standing amongst both students and staff.
He trained as a teacher of History and Religion, continued his studies in Belfast to complete a Masters of Divinity, eventually moving to complete a Doctor of Ministry degree in USA. He has authored five books, written numerous articles and blogs, and loves nothing better than walking barefoot on a beach … and then returning to a kitchen to cook for friends.
