Ian Callanan

Bio:

Ian Callanan has been involved with liturgical music his entire life and has been composing music for over 20 years. Published by GIA Publications, he is an accomplished composer, arranger, score editor and workshop leader.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Music degree from NUI Maynooth and a Masters of Arts in Religion and Culture from Mater Dei. He has been a very popular workshop presenter over the years at the Summer School and is also the director of the “Emmanuel” programme, for the Dublin Diocese, and “Seinn” for Limerick and Killaloe Dioceses, both of which involve over 3,000 secondary (high school) students, learning new liturgical music, culminating in a celebration concert.

Martin Sauter

Bio:

Martin Sauter is a non-stipendiary pastor in the Lutheran Church in Ireland, formerly lecturer in history, sociology and intercultural studies. In January of 2015 he was ordained a non-stipendiary pastor in St. Finian’s Lutheran Church where he is mainly looking after the small English-speaking congregation. He is also ecumenical officer of his church and involved in ecumenical bodies both at City, All-Ireland and European level.

Philip McKinley

Bio:

Philip is Church of Ireland Chaplain in Dublin City University. He is a graduate of Biblical and Theological Studies from Trinity College Dublin and has worked previously for the Hard Gospel Project, Irish Council of Churches and Blanchardstown Methodist Church. He is also co-founder and singer with the multi-ethnic Discovery Gospel Choir, which is based in St George and St Thomas’ Church, Cathal Brugha Street.
